[ 88 ] • DAYSPA • may 2017 Money of Merit The Successful Hands Grant Program will award more than $15,000 in grants and product prizes to massage therapy students this year. The initiative is a partnership between global wellness company Performance Health and massage spa chain Massage Envy Franchising. More than $40,000 has been awarded since the program's inception, and last year's competition saw over 750 applicants. Among this year's prizes are eight $1,000 grants for students, with an additional $500 grant and $500 product package for each winner's school. To apply, students must complete a 200- word essay responding to the prompt, "What being a successful massage therapist means to me." Applications can be submitted online at successfulhandsgrants.com, with a deadline of October 15, 2017.
