"We have the utmost respect for the Satin Smooth brand and what Conair Professional has built over the past 30 years," says AII president Zvi Ryzman. "The combination of Satin Smooth's established, authentic connection to the professional esthetician community and its unique, highly customized products pairs well with AII's highly skilled and experienced team, resources and global scale." Smooth Move ORGANIC GROWTH According to a recent report from Research and Markets, the global organic skincare market is expected to grow with a Compound Annual Growth Rate (CAGR) of 7.8 percent between 2018 and 2023. More key fi ndings from the report are as follows: • North America was the largest market for organic skin care in 2017—a trend poised to continue, due to the rising demand for natural products. • Facial care is the fastest growing segment in the organic skincare market. Consumers are seeking products with oils, including blended formulations and pure organics, to provide healthy fi xes for dr y and damaged skin, as well as organic topicals with a variety of specifi cations for different skin concerns. • Nanotechnology is one of the biggest drivers of this market. Believed to help consumers reverse aging at a cellular level, nanotechnology is being implemented to keep skin more youthful and provide protection from harmful sunlight.
