dayspamagazine.com/freeinfo • Use FreeInfo #28 Every day I talk to Estheticians all over the Country. Some of you are from big cities and some of you live in small towns. Some†of you are just getting your esthetic careers started and some of you are seasoned Estheticians. What's concerning me is the amount of energy some of you are putting into talking about how bad business is right now. If you spent as much time and energy talking about how you would like business to be....you'd be busy!!! I am a true believer in the "Law of Attraction". Let me tell you a story... When I purchased my fi rst skin care center back in 1990, I knew absolutely nothing about running a business. In fact, I had only been an Esthetician about a year and a half, so I was still learning how to be a good Esthetician. Back then I knew nothing about the law of attraction but I am quite certain that because of it, I became a successful business owner. I would go into my skincare center every single day whether I had a client or not. I would take extra special care of everything in that offi ce as if the next person to walk through that door was going to be someone very important (well, every person that came through the door was very important). When I did have a client, she'd never ever hear me talk about my worries. Every word out of my mouth was positive. She might ask how business was and I'd always say "it's awesome, thanks for asking." I would respond like that even if she was my fi rst client of the week and it was already Thursday! I'll admit it, sometimes I was scared. Sometimes I didn't know where the next dollar was coming from. But I had this inner knowing that told me to stay positive, believe and act as if my business was already booming. And you know what? Before I knew it, business was booming. Clients picked up on my good energy and they started talking about me. New clients called. My appointment book began to fi ll up. My business was not only thriving, it was growing rapidly! I'm not saying it's always easy to stay positive. But staying positive is the most important thing you can do for yourself and for your business. When you're feeling down, don't tell a client. Don't let it show on your face. Don't get on the phone with a friend and blah, blah, blah about it. Don't even spend time telling yourself how bad it is!! Do whatever you have to do to feel better in that moment, to get your mind off of worrying. Trust me, the more you do that, the less "worry moments" you will have. Things will begin to change! How much of your day do you spend talking about how bad things are? Would you want to be around someone with that kind of negative energy whirling around them? People want to be around other people that are positive, happy and loving life. If your business is not doing well take a good hard look at yourself. Change your attitude and in no time at all, your business will change! Thanks for taking a moment to read this. I hope that if you are struggling with business right now, you take this to heart. Try being more positive and let me know how it works for you!
