However, experts warn not to make the mistake of thinking that Instagram doesn't need steady at- tention; it is important to keep your profi le well maintained. "If a company decides that they want to use Instagram for market- ing purposes, they must keep their profi les up to date," Walker urges. "This means that their profi le images and company information should always be current, and they must post regularly. Examples: when the natural lighting is especially lovely, there are new plants in the lobby or you've just decorated for a holiday. • Learn some photography basics, such as how to make optimal use of lighting and which angles are most fl attering. Strive for high- quality yet authentic-looking shots that lure in followers, and encourage them to like and leave comments on the site. • Consider hosting a photo contest. Ask followers to upload an image of their spa day using a custom hashtag, to make the submissions easy to track.
