However, sellers need to understand that for every product they place on a retail shelf, they must assume some level of responsibility for what happens next. We've all heard the horror stories about an at-home acid peel gone wrong or a DIY scalp treatment that resulted in a client's accelerated hair loss. The bad news is you can be held liable for damages caused by the products you sell.
