Performance Health will also make a $2,500 donation to the Massage Therapy Foundation in Veitzer's name. "I look forward to helping spread the word about the effi cacy of massage therapy, how it can and should be a key part of any therapeutic and wellness regimen, and the great career one can have while helping others as a massage therapist," says Veitzer. u Community Minded Jane Iredale, president and founder of Iredale Mineral Cosmetics, sponsored the 2017 Berkshire International Film Festival (BIFF)— a natural move that merged her background in fi lm with her passion for supporting the community. BIFF takes place in the brand's hometown of Great Barrington, Massachusetts, and showcases documentaries and recently released feature fi lms. A pre-opening night party was held at the Jane Iredale fl agship store—beauty boutique Louisa Ellis—where professional makeup artists served up Red Carpet ready looks. On opening night, Iredale hosted dinner and dancing at Saint James Place. Christopher Plummer, John Carroll Lynch, Karen Allen and David Edelstein, among a number of other fi lmmakers, were in attendance, making the latest BIFF the most successful yet. "Because I used to be a fi lmmaker, it's a perfect connection personally and professionally," says Iredale. "The added bonus is that it supports our local communities by bringing in thousands of people who shop and use the restaurants."
