"This season will bring lips into full service," says Glo-Mineral's McCarthy. "Bright and pale pinks alike will cover lips across the runways and on the street. It's a great way to counter a nude eye and cheek." Mineralogie's new collection includes deep pink lipsticks that lend a hint of drama to clean and natural complexions. "I'm pretty excited about the bold lip trend," says Jordan. " I think it is something that women will feel comfortable wearing every day." Over-plucked and super thin eyebrows have gone by the wayside, making way for more natural and full brows that lend faces depth and definition. "Clients should avoid over-waxing the brows," says Youngblood's Luque. "Keep them clean and as close to the natural shape as possible. A good brow powder or kit is a great tool to use with every brow service." Celebrity makeup artist Marissa Nemes, whose roster of A-list clients includes Faith Hill, Mariah Carey and Maria Shriver, suggests keeping matte eye shadow, eyebrow powder or a universal pencil "that works for every skin color" to help achieve the on-trend look. "I always suggest going lighter with the brow shade, unless the client is blonde—then go with an ashy color to define," Nemes says. "Staple brow shades include ash, taupe, brown and mahogany brown."
